This is the trailer Ed put together just after filming The Heroes of Middlecenter for Stormy's video project in Spring 2003. The trailer was assembled before the editing of the actual movie began, so the scenes contained therein may not be exactly as they appear in the final video, which would be completed about two weeks afterwards. Because the video is based on the script that later became Chapter 1 of the comic, you should recognize most of the scenes, although some have not yet made it into the comic by the time this trailer debuted on our site (4/15/05). |
This is the movie that started it all, assembled for Stormy's final Video project in Spring 2003, well before we knew it'd become a comic, and even before the heroes had names! We used this movie as the basis for Chapter 1 of the comic, though there are a few very slight differences, and a couple jokes that got edited out or changed in the adaptation, including an all new ending sequence! In addition to Stormy and Ed, it stars our friends and fellow webcomic artists Jessica (of Timescapes), Alex and Joe (No Need For Bushido), and Will (Is It Con Yet), among others. We're premiering this movie now that Chapter 1 is complete, on the website's one year anniversary (6/4/05). |

Although not Middlecenter related, this is a short 2 minute video made by Stormy, Ed, and a couple others, entered into Blizzard's World of Warcraft video contest. It achieved third or fourth place in its category, if I'm not mistaken... The characters seen here belong to Stormy, and Ed's friend Matt. Voice talents provided by Ed and Monica (who played one of the two Faeries in the Middlecenter movie), with additional sound effects courtesy of Stormy! |

| Theme from Heroes of Middlecenter (sample) - By Ed |
Although initially without any specific application, this piece was written to serve as the theme song of Middlecenter for use whenever the need should arise. Just like the world of Middlecenter itself, its style is a blend of that of the Renaissance era with a hint of modern flair. This is exemplified better in the full version, as this download is a 1-minute exerpt. Copyright Ed Mason 2005. |
